Safer Internet Use:  In Canada, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection www.protectchildren.ca has created a unique, one-stop Internet safety website – The Door that’s Not Locked - www.thedoorthatsnotlocked.ca – to help parents, teachers and anyone else with children in their lives learn about ways to keep kids safe on the Internet. There is also a mobile safety website mobility.protectchildren.ca  with some helpful tips.

French Club Fund Raisers

French Club Canadian Tire Money: We are currently accepting donations of Canadian Tire money in the office. Proceeds will be raffled off prior to the Quebec trip, scheduled for May 2013. All donations are graciously accepted!

Lamontagne Fund Raiser: Quebec travel club members are currently selling Lamontagne cereal snack bars and Cafe Bistro products. See our club members for a product listing and pricing. Delicious!

 

NOTICE TO PARENTS

Possible Bus Route Disruption

 

The Beautiful Plains School Division is having difficulty recruiting spare and regular school bus drivers.  

 As a result, the Division is informing parents of transported students that there may be occasions when regular bus routes will not operate.  Thus, parents will have the responsibility to transport their children to school.  Parents will be contacted as early as possible if this occurs.

 Be assured, the Division will do its utmost to limit these occurrences.   

The Division is planning a bus driver training course so anyone interested can contact the School Bus Garage.
